DR:FR Burnett Inland Hub

This DR:FR Burnett Inland Hub is where we’ll share the outcomes and insights of the DR:FR Burnett Inland program, which was funded by the Minderoo Foundation and the Australian Government’s Preparing Australian Communities Program – Local stream, and delivered by FRRR and Red Earth Community Foundation between 2023 and 2026.

The aim of the program was to develop and lead regional and localised initiatives in six partner communities that strengthened awareness, increased preparedness and enhanced capacity of the local community to thrive and be resilient to the impacts of climate, disasters, and other disruptions.

The map (right) shows the location of the partner communities, including Cherbourg, Dallarnil, Kalpowar, Kumbia, Proston and Tansey.
